This Week!
We watched To Save A Life and most would agree that it was excellent.
We will start a series brought up in the movie in the upcoming weeks called: Dare to Make Your Life Count-Searching for more than the world’s got to offer.
We will be discussing Faith, Friends, Bullying, Relationships, Cutting/Depression, and more. It’s going to be heavy, but we are hoping you will be able to find this as a valuable resource.

Permission Slips and Payment of $15 is due for Word of Life Superbowl this Sunday Oct 31st. You can find permission slips on the blog. Great time to invite friends!
We are going to a concert this Friday Oct 29th and YOU should come 🙂Why? Because you can hear Hawk Nelson, Britt Nicole, and Revive all at once for only $15!

New news you knew was coming :)
Hey all! We have got so much planned for this coming winter and just wanted to share our upcoming events!
1st: HAYRIDE!!! Oct. 17th we will be taking a trip to Keiths Farm for a hay ride. We will also be picking pumpkins and carving them at the church! Good oppurtunity to invite some friends! Cost is $10. (You prob. won’t be spending the full 10 dollars but they do have really yummy apple cider and other treats so it will be good to have a little extra just in case)
2nd: To Save A Life: Movie Night…We will be playing a movie, eating some popcorn, and hanging out on Oct 24 starting at 5pm. This is an incrediable movie that can really open your eyes to a lot of things going on in your life. It is also a really great evangelical tool that you can use to share the gospel with your friends. We will be basing on youth group discussions around the movie so make sure to be there on Sunday Oct. 24 Tickets available at Youth Group
3rd: I would love to bring a group down to Boston for Boston’s Night of Worship which is Saturday (the day before Minute to Win It game night!) I am really excited to attend and believe it will be a great night Cost is $12 and we will be leaving at 5pm)

Back to School, Back to School
It’s that time of year again! Classes have started and the work load has begun. But that doesn’t mean you can’t have anymore fun! BECAUSE!!!!
Youth group Fall Kick Off is THIS SUNDAY!
****Loud screaming as if you just seen Justin Beiber in Concert and he winked at you!!!!!*****
(ok kinda creepy I know but you now are thinking crazy screaming)
That’s right everyone…This Sunday is the start to our fall quarter here at Elevate. And with the fall comes: Acquire the Fire, Word of Life Superbowl, Hay Rides, Pumpkin Carvings, Apple Cider, and so much more! It’s going to be EPIC!
Now a lot of you are probablly wondering what we’ll be doing this Sunday. I may see some of you at AWANA tomorrow (which starts at 6:15ish and is awesome and you should totally be there) and you will see me and find me and the first thing that will come out of your mouth will not be, “Hi Natasha! How are you?” But rather, “What are we doing at youth group?”
So to make things a little more interesting I have decided to give out clues/prizes throughout this week pertaining to the amazingness that will be this Sunday’s Youth Group!
So Clue # 1 is this guy! Know who this is????
And prize #1: will be a brand new bag of Pretzel M&M’s (The best thing to happen to M&M’S)!!!
They are fantastic and free to the person who can text me the best title for this event (Youth Group Kick Off) for our bulletin this Sunday!
